Who's New

Our online events team just keeps growing!

Marisa (pronounced Mareesa) is an experienced meeting coordinator and association professional, with ten years of membership, management and customer service experience. Her background includes organizing associations' annual meetings, leadership workshops and state affiliate meetings throughout the U.S.

Before joining CommPartners, Marisa worked with National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and the Association of Agricultural Chemists (AOAC). While there, in addition to events management, she developed and implemented a successful multi-tier payment plan to ease the financial burden of paying dues for individual members. Marisa also maintained an affinity program that included twelve levels of discounts and benefits to members.

Prior to her work in event management, she served as an Operations Specialist in the Navy, on a Spruance Class Destroyer, and received an honorable discharge in 1998.
 
Marisa has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, from University of Phoenix.

Where you'll find her on the weekends: "I enjoy volunteering in our community and for local schools; and I like to travel with my family and make weekend trips to New York City."
