"Each year, I make a donation to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). EFF champions the public interest in critical battles affecting digital rights. “We’ve donated several times this season to AMVETS (American Veterans Association), bought Christmas gifts for a seven year-old girl sponsored by The Salvation Army, and we participated in our local elementary school’s fund-raisers.”  – Kelly

"I've supported the schools that Kelly's and Marisa's kids attend this month, by buying lots of stuff from their fund-raisers!" - Kim

"My family donated money for a fund to help a family in my neighborhood whose house burned down. We also gave canned goods for local Salvation Army food drive." - Marisa

"Every year I support the Make-a-Wish Foundation by purchasing the holiday gift labels drawn by the children; and I help raise funds by participating in the “Make-a-Wish” Sea Colony Triathlon in DE.  These funds then grant wonderful “wishes” to the children through the year and holiday, such as trips to Disney World, etc. It's so amazing to see the looks of sincere gratitude from these children who are so very sick.  Everybody is very emotional!" - Tracy

"My family works the Missionaries of Charity annual Christmas party in Anacostia each year. We also sent gifts to the troops serving in Iraq, and support fund-raisers for Appalachian Service Projectand Catholic Youth Ministries in Clarksville." - Mary
