Navigating through Change...
Each year, CommPartners' staff takes an end-of-summer outing, to gear up for the fall and to just plain enjoy each other's company. A few weeks ago, we kayaked the tributaries of Maryland's eastern shore.
Kayaking was not only a great chance to break up the routine, but it was kind of a metaphor for where CommPartners is heading. We're navigating our own waters, through an extreme growth period of adding more staff, a second office space, etc.
Change can be scary. Growth is, of course, the best 'problem' to have, but even positive change has to be handled carefully and thoughtfully. Because technology is constantly changing, we at CommPartners are used to being nimble, helping clients integrate new technologies into existing ones - supporting you, while you balance the interests of members/clients, employees, board, volunteers and the fiscal health of your organization.
