The Value of Sponsorship

Increasingly in my conversations with association colleagues, I hear about the successful implementation of sponsorship to fund Webinars. Organizations are attracting hundreds of participants by offering free events to members.

Sponsorship can include a number of pre- and post-event activities.

For example, prior to an event, include a presence on your organization’s Web site and Webinar registration pages, the e-invitation and online instruction page.

Post-event activities include a logo and tag line on the archive CD boxed sets or streaming media and a special “thank you” email to attendees. Of course the Webinar console and presentation slides may include imagery and sponsor mentions.

"  SAF uses the MagnetMail/NewsManager combo and finds it pretty easy. The systems are fully integrated and offer extremely powerful capabilities for creating newsletters, email blasts, combining fax (which some of our members still prefer) with email automatically, etc.

Deliverability is good. MagnetMail has an excellent system to check for things that might trip a Spam filter. We can also send test messages and then view how they will look in most major recipient systems (hotmail, aol, outlook, etc.) which has been extremely helpful.
