A Movement to Virtual Conferences
The economy and frustration with travel has created an emerging movement towards multi-day virtual conferences.
Technology continues to evolve in this area and we are seeing early adaptors looking to extend the reach of their onsite conferences or replace them all together with online programs. These fully managed, multi-day seminars may include keynote addresses, breakout rooms, voting, silent auctions, tradeshow booths and many other enhancements.
Virtual board meetings and hybrid conferences, (a mix of in-person events, Web simulcast and on-demand recordings) are gaining popularity as well.
Our case study in this issue is about how we created a new platform to transform a three-day, in-person delegate assembly into a virtual event, complete with voting, chat rooms and credentialing. Please contact us if you would like to explore this topic in greater detail.

The program was definitely a big success all around, and helped me demonstrate that there is interest in Web seminars from our membership. I look forward to working with you again in the coming months.
